The gold mining dredger is a highly efficient and easily maintainable
suction dredger that can be disassembled for transportation. With a
basic but sturdy design, the dredger features three pontoons - the main
pontoon and two side pontoons - that can be quickly assembled and
disassembled. It is powered by a diesel marine engine and a mechanical
PTO that drives the dredge pump. The engine is cooled by an open
cooling-water system. To increase production, the dredger also has a Jet
installation that can be switched between the dredger and the sluice
box, which uses the water to create hydraulic riffles in combination
with Hungarian riffles.
All of the equipment is located on the main pontoon, allowing for
easy transportation with only a minimal number of parts that need to be
dismantled. The main components are road transportable and can be
operated by just one person.
